Not only is Folk Art an easy way to learn to paint. We’ve made it simple and approachable, with step-by-step lessons inside our online classroom, a guided workbook to follow along with, all the art supplies you’ll need to get started and personal feedback on each lesson.
First Class Support
There is nothing more frustrating when you are learning something new and you have questions but nowhere to ask them! You NEED to know whether you're on the right track or why you’re just ‘not getting it’ Without this support, you are much more likely to give up. That's why me and my assistant Toni are always available via our private FB group, or via email. In addition as you complete each module we provide personal feedback and a certificate of completion when you've completed all 12 modules.

Over 12 weeks, you’ll learn how to paint beautiful Folk Art designs and create projects you’ll feel genuinely proud of.
We recommend you spend 2–3 hours a week, but it's completely flexible, and most students find themselves wanting to paint everyday!
There's no pressure. No perfection. And you don't need to know anything before you begin.
You just need small pockets of time where you can slow down, focus on something creative and mindful, and reconnect with a part of yourself that’s probably been buried under all the to-do lists and taking care of everyone else.

Carol has been teaching Folk Art for over 30 years and, together with her niece Toni, they will be there to support and encourage you every step of the way.
We will gently help you move through the inner blocks that can make starting feel impossible - perfectionism, procrastination, self-doubt, and the habit of always putting everyone else first.
2Everything You Need
There is nothing worse than feeling excited to begin painting, only to feel overwhelmed trying to work out which supplies to buy and whether you’ve chosen the right things.
That’s why we include all the correct quality supplies, along with a beautiful full-colour workbook journal designed for you to paint directly into.
3Online Classroom
At the end of each module, you will submit your work so we can personally guide you through your progress and help you grow in confidence as your skills develop.

Beyond Beginners...
Once you’ve mastered the A-B-C's in the Beginners Course, you can move on to more advanced skills in our Academy Courses, much like progressing to ‘joined-up writing’ at school.
Just as some go on to write stories or novels while others simply use writing in everyday life, the Folk Art system we’ve designed helps you discover and nurture your creativity in an accessible and easy-to-understand way. Before long, you’ll be creating your own unique designs and colour schemes.
