I used to think painting was an exclusive club I could never join. That all changed in the 90s when I discovered Folk Art during my time in Australia. From the first brushstroke, I was hooked—painting became my creative outlet and my escape from life’s chaos.
When I returned to England in 1995, I was surprised how few people knew about it, so I began teaching. Now, with over 30 years of experience—including time as DecoArt’s Artist Coordinator—I’ve created this beginner-friendly course to make painting approachable and stress-relieving.
With my niece Toni, we’ll help you not only learn to paint but overcome self-doubt and perfectionism. Our goal is to empower you to find joy, creativity, and calm in today’s busy world.
